The A∙WOL Consortium consists of key expert onchocerciasis/filariasis laboratories based in the UK (Liverpool and London), Germany (Bonn), Africa (Ghana) and the USA:
In addition to these, the Consortium also includes collaborating pharmaceutical companies with technology platforms for high throughput screening (HTS) of drug combinations. Our group includes the recognised international experts in their fields, who collectively are capable of carrying out almost the entire drug discovery and development process, which is required for new drugs to treat human filarial diseases.
